The Engineering Faculty Union Office at the University of Misrata is comprised of:

These members form the Union's Council and work to achieve its goals. They were elected through direct elections held in September 2021.
Our vision is to achieve leadership and excellence in higher education services for the community, through building a distinguished cadre of faculty members, defending their rights, and developing their academic and administrative capabilities.
The Union serves its members, including faculty staff, and motivates them to share their expertise and scientific capabilities to benefit society, lead development, and bring about positive change in various community institutions.
Defending the rights of its members and protecting their professional interests.
Raising the professional competence of members and enhancing their professional, scientific, and cultural levels.
Preserving the profession, loyalty, and pride in it.
Revealing scientific innovations and competencies to achieve their desired goals.
Strengthening relations with international and regional organizations related to the profession.
Holding scientific conferences and seminars at all local and international levels.
The Union's participation with the education sector and related entities in developing draft laws and regulations that concern the profession and its members.
Encouraging authorship and scientific research that serves local and humanitarian issues to solve their scientific, economic, and social problems.
Following up on the implementation of the Union's recommendations with the college and university administration.
Encouraging volunteer work in service of the nation and its citizens.
Strengthening the relationships between faculty and staff and facilitating communication between faculty and staff members.
Emphasizing the values of fairness, equality among members, and dedicated efforts to achieve the Union’s goals.
