Academic biography
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Misurata University, Head of the AI Engineering Department, and Director of the University's Information and Documentation Center. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Huddersfield, UK. His expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural and fuzzy systems, intelligent control, and optimization algorithms. Workshop under the Expertise France Fab Lab project for Libyan students.
Projects and professional development
Fab Lab Libya Contribution to the digital fabrication project financed by the UK Government and implemented by Expertise France, supporting access to digital fabrication tools and applied innovation. HARCO Participation in the Hierarchical and Adaptive Smart Components project under the European Commission's FP7 programme. Contributions included test design, experimental setup, MATLAB data analysis, and intelligent thermal-error compensation combining temperature and Fibre Bragg Grating strain measurements. EASE-R3 Contribution to an integrated framework for cost-effective repair, renovation and reuse of machine tools in modern factories.
