Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department urges the use of modern methods and technologies in theoretical and practical education, as we follow the following four educational guidelines:
First: Taking courses in basic sciences such as physics, chemistry, modern mathematics, in addition to Islamic studies, English language, and some other courses related to general engineering of the Faculty of Engineering.
Second: Courses of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department which allow the student to specialize in a specific programme in the fourth and fifth year.
Third: Laboratory work, projects, and research works at specialized levels in electrical and electronic engineering.
Fourth: Real-life engineering experiences available for students during summer time of the fourth year through practical training programme in the area of specialization and gaining training experience in one of the companies.
After completing the programme of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, graduates are fully prepared for work-life. Many job opportunities in the country are available for electrical and electronic engineering graduates, including working in industry, government, or education.
